Welcome to us
Eriksdalsbadet is the largest swimming facility in Stockholm and belongs to the northern swimming hall area.
The facility is Sweden's national arena for swimming sports with a total area of 27,500 square meters. We have five pools, a gym, group training rooms, and conference facilities with 1.1 million visitors each year. During the summer, we also have an outdoor pool. Our unit consists of 50 permanent employees and about 50 on-demand staff.
We are now looking for a new unit manager as our current one is moving on to new challenges.

Your role
As a unit manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- responsibility for operations, budget, personnel, and work environment
- responsibility for the property and safety
- leading team leaders, coordinators, and employees as well as recruiting new ones
- collaborating with district administrations, the association sector, and private actors
- answering questions from the public and media.
You will have three team leaders and three administrators to assist you. You will lead the unit's management team. Additionally, you will be part of the area's management team of six people and report to the area manager for northern swimming halls. You are an important link in the work for the future of Eriksdalsbadet and a comprehensive renovation.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who:
- has current experience working as a manager with responsibility for operations, personnel, and work environment as well as budget
- has current experience leading change and development
- has a university degree, alternatively another education combined with work experience from a similar role
- has training in leadership
- is a competent swimmer (at least 200 meters of which 50 on the back) and can dive to a depth of at least 3 meters
- has current computer skills, especially in a Windows environment
- has a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
It is meritorious if you have:
- worked to provide visitors with good treatment and service
- experience handling media contacts
- experience leading large groups of employees
- worked within the sports movement, associations, or with public health issues
- worked in a politically governed organization.
