We are now looking for a social worker for habilitation for children/youth. The position is a permanent employment starting by agreement. We are in an exciting development and building phase to meet the needs of children and youth in Region Kronoberg for habilitation. This has resulted in new innovative working methods! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position of social worker is in our autism team. We work with children aged 0-18 years.

As a social worker with us, you will map new cases and make initial contact with parents. Sometimes you will be alone in the meeting and sometimes together with a colleague. The work includes conducting training and leading groups for children and youth. Parent support groups and sibling groups are also part of the job. You will have ongoing conversations with children, parents, and the child's network such as schools, respite care, etc. You will also provide advice and support regarding community services related to children with disabilities.

Our teams are cross-professional, where you work together with occupational therapists, special educators, speech therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, nurses, and doctors. You and your colleagues will work together to promote the development and quality of life for the child. As a new social worker, you will have a supervisor, and the entire social worker group receives regular supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a trained social worker. If you have previously worked with children/youth with disabilities, it is an advantage. The position involves some travel, which requires you to have a driver's license.

As a person, we see that you are stable and can handle stress constructively. Furthermore, you are collaborative, adaptable, and have an unpretentious focus on the common goal. To thrive in the role, you also need to be solution-oriented and quickly find solutions to emerging problems. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
