JOB DESCRIPTION
In the role of decision support, you will assist the prison officer and probation officer in the work with client decisions. The assignment involves making decisions in individual client cases based on delegation, ensuring the quality of decisions in relation to laws, regulations, and manuals in dialogue with colleagues, as well as quality assuring language and other formalities. The work includes documenting the probation's decision meetings and supporting employees in preparing decisions and decision materials, as well as guiding in client cases. It also includes participating in the probation's collegium and actively engaging in legal forums/practice forums. The role also involves identifying needs and proposing structures for how the work can be conducted most effectively in dialogue with the manager and other employees, and being proactive in implementing this.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are also looking for someone with experience in the operations of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and good administrative law knowledge, experience in working with legal decisions and handling administrative matters. You should have several years of experience in handling and decision-making processes regarding intensive supervision and special release measures.
We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and has good self-awareness. To succeed in the role, you need to be structured and articulate well in both speech and writing. The assignment may vary over time based on changes and needs within the organization. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy driving both short and long processes forward and managing multiple processes simultaneously. You need to be able to plan and prioritize your work and independently drive your processes. It is important that you work well with others, listen, and communicate clearly, ensuring that messages are conveyed and expectations are clear for all parties involved. You need to have a coaching approach and a well-developed pedagogical ability.

We are looking for someone who has:
- A bachelor's degree with a focus on law, behavioral science, or political science, or other education complemented by experience suitable for the position
- Experience in the operations of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
- Experience from the probation service
- Experience in handling administrative matters
- Good administrative law knowledge
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience in guiding or coaching tasks
- Several years of experience in handling intensive supervision and special release measures.
