When an experienced diabetes nurse retires, we take the next step forward.

We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute new perspectives while building on a well-functioning operation.

The health center is part of Praktikertjänst and is operated privately through an agreement with the Västra Götaland region.

Herkules Health Center is one of Borås' largest health centers with approximately 14,000 registered patients. We are a fully staffed workplace with over 55 employees and are located in modern, adapted premises in the center of Borås.

We have a variety of nurse-led clinics such as Diabetes, asthma/COPD, wounds, elderly care, incontinence, osteoporosis, menopause, and Mental Health. We have close collaboration with our physiotherapists and occupational therapists at Herkules Rehab.

The nursing group consists of 14 nurses/district nurses who work together as a team but also in close collaboration with other professionals in the organization.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you hold a very important role at the health center. We share a large mandate in the front line towards our patients, where an important part of the work is telephone counseling, advice through digital chat with our patients in our digital service Appen Praktikertjänst, and our district nurse clinic.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed nurse with a few years of experience and are confident in both person and profession, as well as having a patient-focused approach. We prefer that you have experience with Tele-Q and clinic work and are comfortable using a computer as a work tool. Specialist training as a district nurse, diabetes and/or asthma/COPD nurse is an advantage.

Personal Qualities

You enjoy meeting patients of all ages and are satisfied with both administrative and practical tasks. We value that you see the person behind the patient, as the patient is our most important focus in our work. If you have previous experience working in a health center, this is an advantage. You are meticulous in your work, have the ability to be flexible, and can adapt your pace and work methods according to what each situation requires. As a person, you are clear and trustworthy and have a good ability to structure and prioritize.

Additional Information

We are primarily looking for someone who wants to work full-time, but part-time can be discussed.
