We are looking for a solution architect who wants to take a key role in the management and further development of an established development platform in a critical organization. The assignment is closely linked to the needs of the software development operations and includes both architecture and practical implementation, focusing on CI/CD, toolchain, and meeting technical and security requirements. The environment includes both a platform based on JBoss and a new container-based platform, where you are expected to support both.

The assignment is security classified and requires you to undergo a security clearance before starting.

• Design and implement improvements in the development platform, including build and delivery pipelines.
• Work with automation and tools, such as Ansible, Argo, and shell scripts.
• Configure, integrate, and manage products in the platform, such as Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Mattermost, and Bitbucket.
• Provide user support to delivery teams and capture needs for further development of the platform's features.
• Monitor the external environment and proactively suggest solutions and improvements.
• Ensure that the platform meets relevant technical and security requirements.

• Experience in defining and establishing architecture principles, standards, and patterns for internal developer platforms for on-prem environments.
• Experience in developing solutions for automated building and packaging of software, as well as designing and optimizing pipelines, automation, and release processes.
• Experience in integrating security into a development platform (shift-left), including identity control, access control, security frameworks, and vulnerability management.
• Experience in close collaboration with developers, operations, cybersecurity, and product owners, as well as the ability to translate needs into platform features.
• Ability to work as a lead developer and implement changes and new functionality in the development platform.
• Good competence in container technology and orchestration, such as Kubernetes.
• Ability to undergo and be approved in a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted).
