We are now looking for more support staff in Kiruna. Do you have an interest in computers and helping others? Perhaps you are employed in another industry but have considered trying a new career path. If so, this is the role for you! We are looking for someone who wants to work on solving customer problems and develop within the IT industry.

We are currently seeking a support technician for our client in Kiruna, where you will be part of a team responsible for the service desk for a large customer. Your main tasks will be to provide support through various types of assistance or problem-solving. As part of the team, you will be involved in the continuous development of the service desk and get to immerse yourself in an interesting technical environment.

In your role as a support technician, you will be an important part of the service that our client delivers to their end customers. Our client is responsible for ensuring that their end customers receive service/support so that an IT problem does not hinder work.

The work is full-time, during the day. The assignment is for 6 months with good chances of continued employment.

Start date for the position is according to agreement.

Responsibilities

In the role of support technician, you will belong to a team of about 10 people who provide user support and assistance to customers. The tasks are varied as well as the workload. You will receive incoming cases from the company's employees via phone and email regarding IT-related issues. The complexity and volume of questions may vary over time. For example, you may work with questions about Microsoft Office, Windows, Active Directory, user and password issues.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for someone who has an interest in computers and helping others. Your work experience may vary, but we would like you to have worked in some capacity with customer contact, be used to working over the phone, and have a technical interest.

The most important thing in this position is that you want to learn your new role, are engaged, and have a humble attitude. All communication takes place via phone, email, and ticketing systems, which means you need to have an outgoing personality and good communication skills.

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Have a high school diploma
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English and be skilled in expressing yourself in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in customer service, support, or IT.
