IT Project Manager at the Swedish Customs in Luleå
The IT department of the Swedish Customs in Luleå is northern Sweden's largest employer in IT, with approximately 350 employees. Here, you will work with the latest technology and participate in the development of several exciting areas of operation. Together with colleagues who complement each other, you will solve new tasks every day and contribute to the Swedish Customs' socially important mission.

About the position
The position involves taking responsibility for planning, leading, supporting, and following up on the work of developing and managing the delivery areas, roadmaps, delivery plans, and development work that a specific delivery area is responsible for within the Swedish Customs' development portfolio.
The role also includes responsibility for:
- ensuring that the delivery area has the right capacity and capability for both short- and long-term needs
- preventing and eliminating any obstacles to getting the desired work done
- visualizing the development area's capacity, capability, and forecast
- ensuring that the delivery area works efficiently and applies continuous improvement in its work.
- monitoring the budget
- making forecasts and resource planning together with product owners and relevant departments
- if necessary, directing, leading, and coordinating the work between delivery teams within the delivery area
- maintaining regular contact with suppliers
You will work closely with the delivery area management, as well as the management from other delivery areas and development areas. We believe it is important that you are professional with agile leadership and good teamwork. Your leadership skills will be highly valued. It is natural for you to plan, prioritize, complete, and achieve results. You manage risks and challenges continuously and transparently. You are good at financial management and change management and can handle different stakeholders' needs both internally at the Swedish Customs and externally.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A post-secondary education in IT or other education or experience that we assess as equivalent
- Experience with agile development methods
- Experience with requirements work in IT
- The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
- Experience in leadership roles within IT
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience from the Swedish Customs' IT operations
