Do you want to be part of Sweden's leading social media editorial team? Right now, we at Newsner/Nöjeslivet are looking for a reporter for our editorial office in Stockholm. The position is a permanent employment that starts with a 6-month probationary period.
Newsner is Sweden's largest soft news site, and we create engaging content primarily tailored for social media.
We would like you to have experience in editorial work. It is good if you have a journalism degree, but even better if you have worked on a news or entertainment site. If you have worked with social media, that is also a plus.
What can we offer?
We have a flat organization where everyone can make their voice heard, and new ideas are always welcome. Here you will take a lot of responsibility and have a chance to be part of the wonderful team that engages millions of readers every week. We want our editors to be open to learning new things, relearning, teaching, and ready to roll up their sleeves to help our company reach new heights.
Who are we?
Newsner was founded in 2014 and has since become one of Sweden's largest publishers on Facebook.
We also run Newsner in several other languages and currently have offices on Birger Jarlsgatan in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, and New York.
In addition to Newsner, we also run sites such as Nöjeslivet, Sportbibeln, and Matbibeln.
Our team in Stockholm currently consists of about 20 editors. Each week, approximately 1.5–2 million visit our sites. Globally, our titles are read by 8 million users every week.
