to apply for the job

We are looking for someone who wants to work with film and editing in a context where the content truly matters. Where what you create goes straight to the hearts of people. You will film, edit, create content, and adapt materials for social media, podcasts, and other digital formats.

Through your work, you will help spread knowledge about mental health to those who need it. For you who appreciate structure, quality, and contributing to something greater than yourself, this is a role with both responsibility and meaning.

Who we are

Svea KBT and Elly Care are two of Sweden's fastest-growing psychology companies. Here, psychologists, doctors, and nurses who are extremely knowledgeable and committed work together with an operations team that ensures everything runs smoothly, grows, and develops.

We work with recognition, information dissemination, humor, understanding, warmth, emotions, and experiment a lot. Our ambition is high, and we want to be the player in Sweden that creates the best content about mental health! We have Sweden's best healthcare experience, and now we just want to get it out in digital channels as well. We are present on social media platforms, podcasts, books, and want to try everything!

With us, no one has just one role. One day we handle practical matters, the next day we build strategies. It’s a fast-paced environment with many balls in the air, and sometimes a bit chaotic; but always with heart, humor, and a strong will to make a difference.

What does a typical Tuesday look like as a Content Editor with us?

08:00: You start the day by creating an overview. You go through what needs to be produced and published, download raw materials, and organize folders so that editing, sound, and image flow smoothly for the rest of the day.

09:00: The morning shifts into focus mode. You edit both short and longer videos for social media, from quick cuts with clear messages to longer formats where discussions can take place. You add subtitles, adjust the pace, and ensure that the content works directly in the feed.

11:00: You edit a podcast episode. You work with the sound, cut out pauses and mistakes, and create a simpler video version. You find a good thumbnail and hook. The same content is adapted for several channels, with different lengths, formats, and expressions.

13:00: In the afternoon, you film with a mobile camera. It could be an interview with a psychologist, short clips for social media, or behind-the-scenes material from everyday life in the organization. Sometimes you also photograph and film during conferences, training, or events.

14:30: You have an hour to spare and take the opportunity to work on the big YouTube series we've loosely discussed where a psychologist will go on a date. You jot down your ideas, and a first concept for a trailer starts to take shape.

15:30: You send material for feedback. You receive adjustments without ego, make changes; sometimes several rounds, and ensure that the final result is as clear and useful as possible.

17:00: You end the day with the feeling of having produced content that truly matters and that helps spread knowledge about mental health to more people than yesterday.

Who we believe you are

  • You have edited video before; perhaps in work, studies, or in your free time.
  • You love to produce good content that resonates.
  • You work well with people as well as independently.
  • You can take feedback without ego and make adjustments quickly.
  • You can also speak up if something isn’t working or can be improved.
  • You are okay with repetitive tasks and enjoy checking things off.
  • You analyze the results of the content you create and make adjustments based on that.
  • You like to experiment; there are good tools that can make the final result better and more efficient, and you are eager to try these and challenge yourself to achieve better results.
  • You are curious, reliable, and deliver what you promise.
  • You care about making it good.

You do not need to:

  • Be an expert in advanced film techniques.
  • Be comfortable in front of the camera (but can be, if you want).
  • Have completed a specific education or had specific experience for x years.
  • Live in Stockholm, but you need to be able to get to Stockholm one full day a week on your own.

What you get with us

  • Be part of spreading knowledge that actually helps people.
  • Work closely with an ambitious, kind, and driven team.
  • Clear feedback, but low ego.
  • Opportunity to grow as the role and the company grow.
  • A workplace where it’s okay to test, adjust, and learn along the way.

Your role is important; through your content, many who need help but haven’t taken the step will do so.

Ready to try?

If you feel that this sounds like a role for you, we would love to hear from you. Send in your application (or reach out) and we’ll take it from there. We look forward to your application!

This is a role where the visual result is the most important. If you don’t have anything to show right now but know you have the ability, send in your application now, and write to [email protected] that you will follow up with a self-produced video related to Svea KBT/Elly Care.
