The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra is seeking Violin 1, tutti.

The audition will take place at the Concert Hall Stockholm on June 9–10, 2026, by personal invitation.

Applications, along with your recording, should be submitted to Muvac via this link (opens in a new window) by April 12, 2026.

Current or former students of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra Academy qualify directly for the audition on site and therefore do not need to submit a video. If this applies to you, please inform us via email at [email protected] and attach your CV.

The recording can be in one or two takes, one with the concert and one with the orchestral excerpt. The concert can be recorded with or without accompaniment. The recordings should be unedited, and the applicant must be visible in the frame at all times.

Repertoire – digital round:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Violin Concerto No. 3, 4, or 5, first movement up to the marking without cadenza.

Richard Strauss Don Juan (violin 1 according to the excerpt booklet)
