Document Control Administrator – BECCS
📍 Stockholm | 🕐 Full-time | 📅 March 23, 2026 – April 30, 2027 (6+6 months extension option)
A leading energy company is now seeking a structured and meticulous Document Control Administrator for a strategic and long-term BECCS project (Bio Energy Carbon Capture and Storage).
This is an opportunity to work on one of Sweden's most significant climate projects, where order, quality, and traceability in documentation are crucial for the project's success.
About the role
As a Document Control Administrator, you will have a central administrative function in the project's document management. You ensure that all project documentation is handled correctly, is accessible, and complies with established requirements, procedures, and quality standards.
You will report to the Document Control Lead and collaborate closely with functions within Information Coordination, Engineering, and other work packages in the project.
The role involves participation in:
- Monthly town hall meetings
- Digitization meetings every other week
- Ad hoc and internal WP/function meetings
Main responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project documentation according to established document control procedures
- Ensure proper storage, archiving, and access to technical and non-technical documents
- Be responsible for version control and ensure that the correct version is available
- Update and maintain document registers and databases
- Coordinate document flows for submission, review, and approval
- Support in the preparation of reports, audits, and status updates
- Develop and implement project-specific procedures for document control
- Structure and classify documents for traceability and easy access
- Be the contact person for document-related issues within the project
- Provide existing documents from the client's archive as needed
- Support the Document Control Lead in technical documentation
Requirements
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in document control
- Experience from construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects is an advantage
- Experience in larger project environments is a plus
Knowledge
- Very good understanding of document control principles and best practices
- Good knowledge of project documentation requirements and dependencies
- Experience with EDMS and CDE systems (e.g., Aconex or similar)
- Understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Skills
- Very good system proficiency with document management tools
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to manage large volumes of documents in a structured and efficient manner
- Excellent communication skills

Qualifications
- Higher vocational education or a bachelor's degree in Information Management, Administration, or similar
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English (spoken and written)
Other requirements
To obtain access cards to the client's offices/facilities, mandatory safety and introductory training through an external training provider must be completed.
A filled requirements matrix must be attached with the offer.
