As a records archivist, you will work strategically with the Swedish Enforcement Authority's information management, an important role in enabling an efficient and legally secure operation.
About the Job
The organization is facing significant changes. A system for electronic preservation is being implemented, requiring the establishment of a management structure, and the authority's paper archives will be centralized. Additionally, many development initiatives are underway at the authority. Your tasks involve working broadly with the authority's information management to ensure that the handling of public documents and cases meets both legal requirements and the needs of the organization. The records archivists at the Swedish Enforcement Authority work with strategic issues and provide guidance and support throughout the information lifecycle. The archive function is located together with the central registry at the expanding information management section under the legal department and collaborates closely with the authority's legal advisors.
You will work on developing and managing governing documents within your area of responsibility, conducting disposal investigations, developing and managing information reporting, participating in requirements specification for procurement and further development of systems and methods, and assisting with your expertise in quality assuring the handling of information and data. Furthermore, you will have an important role in the work with information deliveries to the e-archive.
This role is focused on proactively steering and improving information management in the authority's operations. The majority of the authority's goals and cases are handled in operational-specific IT systems. You will work closely with operational specialists and development and support functions to develop appropriate and legally secure solutions.

Your Qualifications:
- higher education with at least 180 credits/120 ECTS, of which 60 credits/40 ECTS in archival science
- well acquainted with the regulations governing the handling of public documents
- experience with disposal investigations or requests to the National Archives for disposal
- experience working with qualified archival issues in public operations.
It is desirable that you have current experience working with the implementation or management of e-archives, or in information transfer projects. It is also desirable that you have current experience participating in IT development or digitization initiatives.

Good to Know
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as an archivist. The Swedish Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer.
Working in the state means that you follow the state value framework. There are also specific requirements for judgment, security thinking, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also posed to referees. We also collect information about debts registered with the Swedish Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. The information obtained will be considered in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision is made. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
