Do you want to help our client create structure and sustainable working methods in archive management? We are now looking for a knowledgeable archivist who can support our client in reviewing their physical archives and establishing a clear and legal archive process. About the position

At Perido, we are looking for an archivist for our client, a public housing company. The company currently has limited internal expertise in the field of archives. Therefore, they need initial support from a knowledgeable archivist who can take a comprehensive approach, create order, and ensure that the work meets the requirements for public operations. The assignment is suitable for you who have experience from public operations and enjoy an advisory role. The goal is for the client to be able to manage archive issues independently after the assignment is completed. This position is located in Järfälla, where the work mainly takes place on-site at the office.

Your main tasks:

• Review and structure the existing physical archive
• Establish an archive inventory
• Provide advice on archiving and disposal
• Ensure that the work complies with legal requirements for public operations
• Develop a practical and sustainable process

Qualifications:

• Experience working according to and creating routines for the requirements of the Archives Act (1990:782), the Archives Ordinance (1991:446), the Freedom of the Press Act (1949:105), the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009:400), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• Experience in establishing routines and processes to comply with legislation, as well as creating an organization for the distribution of responsibilities
• Experience from public operations

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment for 6 months. Start in April.
