Graphic Designer/Original Artist (Freelance) Wanted

Do you want to work with graphic design that becomes part of the experience for thousands of guests? Parks and Resorts is now looking for a Graphic Designer/Original Artist (freelance) who wants to create visual expressions closely tied to our parks and their unique worlds.

About the Role

As a Graphic Designer/Original Artist at Parks and Resorts' in-house agency, you will be part of our creative team and work on designs that enhance the theming and overall experience of the parks. You will primarily produce material for still images and print, with the opportunity to also work with moving content.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating and finalizing graphic materials for menus, signage, campaigns, and printed materials
• Working with layout and original production for both physical and digital devices
• Ensuring that the visual expression interacts with the parks' theming
• Collaborating closely with restaurants and food units, as well as other park communications
• Being responsible for the original work from idea to finished production

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of form, layout, and typography who enjoys working meticulously and with quality in mind. You are confident in adapting expressions to different styles, themes, and environments, knowing when a playful, colorful expression is more suitable than a more subdued one.

We would like you to have:

• Approximately 1–3 years of experience as a graphic designer/original artist
• Strong knowledge of layout, typography, and original production
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Experience in adapting design to various visual expressions and environments
• Experience with visual expressions for restaurants, retail, or similar environments (preferred)
• Experience with Figma, motion graphics in After Effects, and/or basic 3D (e.g., Blender or Cinema 4D) (preferred)
• A degree in design, such as from Berghs, Beckmans, HDK, or equivalent (preferred)

In short: you ensure that form, typography, and details are on point and that every delivery feels natural in its themed environment.

Practical Information about the Position

• Role: Graphic Designer/Original Artist
• Employment Type: Consultant/Freelance assignment throughout 2026, with a chance for extension.
• Scope: Full-time
• Location: Gröna Lund
• Start: Immediately

The assignment is a consultant/freelance position where you will invoice us, so you need to have your own company or sole proprietorship. Terms and compensation will be discussed further during the recruitment process. An assignment agreement will be signed before the start of the assignment.
