Skokloster Castle is looking for staff for the public operations in the 2026 season

Job Description

You are the face of the castle and welcome our visitors. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for providing Skokloster Castle's visitors with a qualitative and positive overall experience. You give a warm, natural welcome to our visitors so that they feel comfortable and at home. You can handle high public pressure mixed with calm moments and can work both independently and in a team. We place great importance on personal qualities. In the entrance and shop, you actively sell our educational offerings and the shop's products. You enjoy selling and are responsible for unpacking and pricing, restocking, and cleaning the shop. You are meticulous and at the end of the day, you are responsible for cash reporting (cash report, compilation, and registration of daily visitor statistics, etc.). Work with public surveys and basic cleaning may occur.

Qualifications

You have relevant education or experience in similar tasks.
You have a pronounced service and safety mindset.
You have a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English.

Employment Conditions

Seasonal employment with a monthly salary. Start date is in April or later, but no later than November. The employment period may vary as well as the degree of service. Scheduled working hours. Weekend work may occur.

Skokloster Castle conducts mandatory training days. The authority applies an inclusive approach and strives for diversity in all aspects.
