About the Organization

The adult psychiatric outpatient care is the foundation of our psychiatric services where our responsibility is to investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate in the patient's local environment.

Our target groups are individuals in need of specialist psychiatric care for psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, neuropsychiatric disabilities, severe personality disorders, complex PTSD, deep depression, or substance disorders with comorbidity of mental illness. Our work is based on regional medical guidelines and routines. We collaborate with other healthcare providers and community actors.

The general psychiatric reception is located at Strömstad Hospital, just a stone's throw from the sea. There is also a branch in Tanumshede for patient visits. We have a psychiatric mobile team that provides care every day from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Our inpatient care is primarily located at NÄL in Trollhättan. We are a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, doctors, unit managers, and team secretaries. About the Position

Your mission within our organization is to work with qualified psychosocial treatment work that includes both mapping and assessment directed towards the individual, family, and network. Collaboration within the team and with other important actors around the patient is a given for you to best meet the patient's needs.

You will perform:

• Basic investigations
• Interviews with relatives during neuropsychiatric investigations
• Individual treatment conversations
• Educational group treatments

Qualifications

A degree in social work or equivalent education. Previous experience in psychiatric treatment work is meritorious, but we also consider if you have worked as a social worker in other fields as valuable background.

You as a person are persistent, responsible, and have a genuine interest in working as a social worker within the specialist psychiatric field and with our target groups. We value your creativity and ability to find solutions, as well as your openness to continuously develop and launch new ideas within our organization.

Other

We conduct interviews continuously throughout the application period. A driver's license is a requirement.
