The Resource and Treatment Team is part of the Reception and Investigation Department's outpatient care.
The team's mission area is broad and includes family treatment, preventive parental support both individually and in groups, and treatment of addiction. As a family therapist, you will work with adults, children, youth, and their families. The content of the treatment work is individually tailored based on the assignment.
Family therapists also work to guide and educate our foster homes. This involves meeting individual foster homes both individually and in groups, as well as organizing two foster home meetings per year.

Job Responsibilities
The work as a family therapist with us is conducted based on evidence-based methods and proven experiences. You will be part of a team with individuals who have extensive competence in social work. You will encounter a workplace with high professionalism where we together contribute to a positive atmosphere with humor, joy, and close collaboration. Here we help each other and exchange thoughts and ideas to continuously develop both ourselves and the organization.
As a family therapist, you will work both with advice and support as well as assessed assignments. The work involves close collaboration with social workers and other important contacts surrounding the client. The team works with client evaluation “Feedback Informed Treatment”.
Qualifications
You are a trained social worker and have further education in methods aimed at children and their parents focusing on strengthening interaction and developing parenting strategies.
You also preferably have experience working within municipal social services and possess knowledge of the legislation governing social services work.
To work with the transition to the new Social Services Act and achieve a cohesive and integrated social service, we see it as particularly important that you are collaborative, have a holistic perspective, and can view issues from different perspectives.
What we are looking for is that you are:
- Independent
- Structured by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work well with the support of supervisors and colleagues.
- Relationship-building and have a very good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations.
- Good communicative ability in both speech and writing
- Secure, calm, and stable in your professional role. This is to be able to make quick decisions and act in situations despite difficult circumstances.
- You see collaboration as a given since it is together we reach our goals and find new opportunities for cooperation.
- You are also used to documenting your work.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A manual B driver's license is a requirement for the position, as well as proficiency in Swedish in both spoken and written form. The social services require a criminal record check before employment.
