About the position

The overarching goal of the Gymnasie- and Labor Market Administration is to provide individuals with support in finding, obtaining, and retaining employment and self-sufficiency. As a social worker in the Employment Operations, you will work according to the Social Services Act to investigate and make decisions about financial assistance, ensuring a fair process and providing the right support to individuals.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• investigate, map, decide, and implement decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL)
• client contacts to investigate the right to assistance, motivate, and strengthen the client's own resources to eventually become self-sufficient
• document according to applicable guidelines
• collaborate with internal and external actors and authorities

About the workplace

The Employment Operations are located at Ribbingsgatan 1 – 3.

The Employment area is part of the Gymnasie- and Labor Market Administration. The operations consist of several units with different focuses: Administration and service, adults, youth and reception, as well as housing and integration. A total of over 100 employees work within our large organization.

Qualifications

The work requires good communication skills, meaning you can express yourself clearly and structured in both speech and writing. You should be accustomed to switching between different tasks and have a good ability to collaborate. Of course, you should also be engaged and actively participate in development work.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• degree in social work or social work student who has completed semester 5

Meritorious:

• experience working with financial assistance
• experience in authority exercise
• experience in social work
• experience with the LifeCare operational system
• sign language skills

Scope and start date

Employment type: summer substitute

Employment rate: 100%

Start date: June 8 - until August 16.
