About the assignment
We are looking for reliable and engaged personal assistants for a man living with ALS in Örebro. The assistance takes place at home and covers the entire day. You will play an important role in creating a safe, independent, and meaningful everyday life.
Note! There is a cat in the home, so you need to be comfortable with animals and free from allergies that may complicate the work.
Who we are looking for
• You are cheerful, positive, and attentive, with the ability to see solutions and be creative in the moment.
• You are reliable, respectful, and have a good demeanor.
• You enjoy working closely with a person and have integrity.
• Meritorious: Experience in personal assistance/care, knowledge of ALS or other neurological diseases, and experience with transfers/aids.
Job responsibilities (examples)
• Personal care and transfers
• Assistance with meals, communication, and structure in daily life
• Household chores in the home
• Social support: accompanying on activities, visits, and errands
• Documentation according to routines
Working hours and setup
• Day, evening, and night according to schedule. Possibility for both fixed shifts and on-call work.
• Introduction/training included.
