Temporary Position as Personal Assistant

This ad is for a temporary position as a personal assistant, where you step in as needed and pick up available shifts in the schedule. Over time, there may also be an opportunity for a fixed-term employment if desired. Would this suit you?

Personal assistance enables me to live a life where I work as a journalist, give lectures, travel, participate in social gatherings, and walk my dog. As the assistant, you have access to an assistance center, but your workplace is wherever I am.

You will receive training in areas such as TSS, guiding, and visual interpretation. Your salary is set based on your qualifications.

As my assistant, you will be employed by STIL. I only accept applications through their website or job bank.

Employment Requirements

• Be flexible with working hours and have a strong work ethic.
• Driver's license for a car with a manual transmission.
• You can or are willing to train in deafblind competence and sign language/TSS.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and can receive written and verbal work instructions, even if I occasionally speak unclearly.
• Not allergic or afraid of dogs, as a dog lives in the home.
• Have an open mind towards alternative lifestyles and a sensible view of humanity.

Other appreciated merits that are not requirements:

• Familiarity with programs such as Zoom, Office Suite, iOS iPhone/iPad, and Adobe.
• Experience working as a personal assistant.
• Experience traveling and handling stressful situations.

About the Position

As a temporary worker, you will be able to fill in which shifts you wish to work or cannot work at the beginning of each month. In case of illness, you may also be contacted and offered shifts.

Salary

The hourly wage is set based on fixed criteria and the qualifications I need, 144-170 SEK/hour + additional compensation.
