At DreamCare Omsorg, we are looking for a personal assistant for a cheerful and active girl!

We at DreamCare Omsorg AB are seeking someone who wants to make a real difference in the daily life of a wonderful and curious 15-year-old girl.

She is wheelchair-bound and loves water, fun, and play – and she needs your help to experience life to the fullest on her own terms.

About the assignment

As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of her daily life. Your role involves providing support in both care and activities, while also contributing to safety, joy, and development.

You will work closely with the family and an engaged assistant team where we value good communication and respect for the user's needs.

With us, you will have the opportunity to develop in your role and learn more about low-arousal approaches and communication using pictures and signs as support (TAKK) – important tools for creating safety and participation in daily life.

We are looking for someone who

• Is calm, secure, and responsible
• Has positive energy and enjoys active work
• Can easily adapt to different situations and needs
• Has experience working as a personal assistant or in care
• Preferably has knowledge of autism, intellectual disabilities (ID), epilepsy, or cerebral palsy
• Has a B driver's license and access to a car – this is a requirement as public transport in the area is limited

Working hours and scope

The position encompasses approximately 50-100%, with evening and awake night shifts.

We are happy to adjust the scope of the position based on your availability and the user's needs.

Important to know

This is a smoke-free workplace and there is a pet allergy in the family.

Since the user is a minor, a police background check ("Own extract") is required before employment.
