Description

LSS is a rights law that guarantees people with extensive and permanent disabilities good living conditions. It ensures they receive the help they need in daily life and can influence the support and services they receive. In Hällefors, LSS encompasses four group homes, daily activities, and personal assistance. We work with adults who have physical and mental disabilities and need support and help in their daily lives.

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible employee for Karlavagnen. You will be an important part of the team and contribute to our users living as independently and actively as possible. The assignment will be characterized by Hällefors municipality's values: “We show care by listening, respecting, and supporting you, so that you have the opportunity to live the life you want and can.”

Job Responsibilities

• Support and assist with care, cooking, shopping, and other daily tasks.
• Support during leisure and social activities.
• Perform health and medical tasks as delegated.
• Document in the Viva journal system.
• Accompany users to and from their work.

Qualifications

• Education in the care and nursing program.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Flexibility and ability to work independently.
• Ability to cook.
• Driver's license (B).

Meritorious

• Experience working within LSS or similar activities.
• Further education in the field, e.g., YH or university education.
• Knowledge of low-arousal approaches.
• Knowledge in AAC.

Conditions

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. The position is a permanent employment of 60-70% with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A valid extract from the criminal record is required before employment.
