Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and integrity and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

The client is a man in his 30s with interests including IT/technology, outdoor activities, cooking, and he also has a slight interest in plants. Humor and irony are important to him.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 30s residing in Laxå

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• has a manual B driver's license

• is smoke-free during working hours

• has good physical condition and can perform lifts and transfers at work

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience working as a personal assistant or in a similar role

Personal suitability will be given great importance.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 45%. The shifts are scheduled as 24-hour shifts from 08:00 to 08:00, with about 6 hours of on-call time at night. We are also looking for hourly substitutes who want to work extra as needed with the client.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
