About the Position
As a treatment assistant, you will actively work to create safety, structure, and a calm daily life for the youth. The role includes both relationship-building work and practical tasks that occur at the residence. We operate from a milieu therapeutic approach where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. Whether you work days, evenings, or nights, you are an important part of the team that together creates conditions for development and positive changes for our youth and their families.
The positions involve night work but also include some evening shifts. The basic employment consists of a workweek of 36 hours and 20 minutes when working 100%, and there is also the possibility to reduce working hours by up to 20% if needed.
Examples of Tasks:
- create a safe and calm environment for the youth at night
- perform certain practical tasks at the residence
- be involved in the work with the youth's implementation plans
About the Workplace
Multigruppen is a residential care home for youth aged 15–19 with various forms of psychosocial issues. We are located in Norr, Örebro. The treatment is organized based on milieu therapeutic principles and is based on cognitive behavioral therapy methods. Our manual-based methods focus on substance abuse, crime, social skills training, emotional control, as well as morals and ethics. We have 12 residential care places where we receive youth for treatment and emergencies.

Qualifications
In the role of treatment assistant, you should be a secure and stable person and have a good ability to empathize with others without losing your professional integrity. You take responsibility for your tasks, structure your approach, and drive your work forward. Furthermore, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes.
We see that you are clear and have good communication skills since contact with the youth is an important part of the job. It is also important that you have a responsive and flexible manner towards your colleagues. You must master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with other staff and document what the operation requires.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- completed upper secondary education
- 2-year post-secondary education as a treatment assistant/social pedagogue or other education deemed equivalent
- Driving license for manual transmission
Meritorious:
- experience in equivalent work with youth in residential care
- experience working nights
- knowledge of treatment work based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)

Employment type: permanent employment and temporary position until September 15, 2026
