About the position
We have made a fresh start in an organization that has existed for many years where we have seen a need for development. Our workplace is beautifully located in nature, and we offer both accommodation and daily activities, known as BODA, where you will work in both areas.
As a support assistant within housing with special services (BMSS), you have a coordinated responsibility where you plan, implement, and follow up on daily work. Your main task is to work together with your colleagues to provide tailored educational support that contributes to a meaningful, independent, and developing life in accordance with LSS. You provide service recipients with individual support in daily activities, which includes everything from personal care and home life to accompanying them on activities and outings. We work to create conditions for individuals to achieve their own goals.
In our daily activities, we offer varied tasks, tailored to the needs and wishes of the users, and will work with continuous development in this where your opinion and experience are important – together with your colleagues, of course.
We work in a low-arousal manner and with clarifying pedagogy to create a predictable and meaningful everyday life.
Examples of tasks:
As a support assistant, you work closely with the users and provide support in their daily lives, which may include:
- support in personal care, meals, and leisure activities
- structuring daily life according to individual implementation plans
- responding to challenging behaviors with a low-arousal approach
- documentation and collaboration with relatives, colleagues, and other professionals
- active participation in the development of the organization
About the workplace
The organization is located in a scenic area, next to hiking trails. The current number of employees is 18, and there are 6 users living in two different buildings.
The Social Administration's area of functional support provides assistance and services to individuals with physical and mental disabilities according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL).

Qualifications
As a support assistant with us, you are a secure and stable person. You have the ability to meet service recipients in a professional manner by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. You have the ability to work systematically with individual implementation plans and adapt support to each individual's unique needs and circumstances. You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and flexible manner. You are a team player who values teamwork and works in line with jointly made decisions. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people with great respect for each person's individual needs. You master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with the service recipient and other staff as well as document what the organization requires in writing. Good computer skills are also required for documentation.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- nursing assistant education or equivalent to the child and leisure program (focus on educational and/or social work)
- driver's license for manual transmission vehicle
Meritorious:
- experience and knowledge of LSS, low-arousal response, and clarifying pedagogy
- experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors
- good knowledge of IBIC
- education and/or experience in psychiatry
- experience in delegation
Scope and start date
Employment type: permanent position
Employment rate: 100%
Start date: by agreement
Number of positions: 4-5
Working hours: day, evening, and every other weekend
