The Financial Support Unit is organizationally under the Social Administration. The unit's main mission is to help financial support recipients find their own means of support through work and studies. The unit consists of 9 social workers, 1 case officer, 1 budget and debt advisor, and 1 estate administrator.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a case officer primarily involves administrative tasks. You will be part of the Financial Support workgroup but will closely collaborate with the other 2 administrators in the operation. Your tasks will include invoice management, support and bookkeeping in the operational system Viva, mail handling, orders, management of own funds cases, and follow-ups of housing social contracts and emergency apartments. You will also meet our urgent visitors and assess urgent applications for financial support according to current legislation. The work also includes developing routines and follow-ups in the operation, digitization, and actively participating in development and improvement work.

As a case officer in Financial Support, you are the spider in the web of the operation, providing support to colleagues, clients, partners, and authorities. You have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and are good at building positive relationships both internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in handling financial support cases is an advantage.

The work as a case officer in financial support involves a high work pace, a good ability to create structure, work systematically, and be meticulous. You work in a team with shared responsibility but also need to have the ability to independently and systematically drive your work forward. You are an empathetic and positive person with a strong sense of service and responsibility. As a colleague, you are open and flexible and contribute to a good working climate.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A B driver's license is required.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Employment extent: 100%.

Employment form: Fixed-term employment for 6 months with a possibility of extension.

Start date according to agreement.
