We are looking for you who want to become the very first personal assistant to our son – an energetic boy with extensive, non-verbal autism and a great need for security.

This is a challenging assignment that requires calmness, courage, and endurance. Our son has a lot of energy and a big heart, but just like everyone, he has moments of defiance and challenges – during these times, you as an assistant will have the opportunity to show patience, creativity, and stability. For the right person, the job is incredibly rewarding, and every progress becomes a shared goal and a key to success.

THE ASSIGNMENT

You will accompany him at home and in various everyday environments and support him in:

• Communication and interaction
• Routines and daily chores
• Play, movement, and recovery

Above all, the job is about building trust, creating security, and becoming an important person in his life. The start will be as needed, with the possibility of fixed working hours in the long term. You will work closely with us as parents in a warm and supportive environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with autism or other disabilities
• Is secure, patient, and works in a low-arousal manner
• Has physical and mental endurance
• Is attentive and genuinely wants to get to know him
• Speaks Swedish fluently
• Is male

Meritorious: Knowledge of AAC/TAAC and experience with challenging behaviors

WORKING HOURS AND DEGREE OF EMPLOYMENT

In the beginning, it will be daytime on weekends, and sometimes afternoons during the week.

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base salary per hour + vacation pay and possible OB compensation. A collective agreement is in place.
