Description
The Social Services/IFO is now looking for a new employee in the form of a family home secretary.
The position is a permanent employment.
You will be part of the child and family team with two investigators, a child follower, and a family therapist. We care for each other and support one another in our mission.
Job Responsibilities and Qualifications
The Social Services is looking for a new employee; we are seeking someone who is a social worker or has another equivalent/relevant education for the role. You are welcome to have experience in family home work. In your role as a family home secretary within family home care, you will primarily work with recruiting, investigating, and guiding family homes and contact persons/contact families. You will establish agreements regarding compensation and process these. Our goal is for the family homes we engage to be in our own management and to receive qualified support at various levels based on what the child and family need. You will meet the family homes regularly and be involved in planning and organizing family home care together with child secretaries. Furthermore, you will manage the ongoing documentation in the family home's case. By your side, you will have a senior social worker who supports and coaches you in your daily work.
Since the social office is a small workplace with a total of about 7-8 social workers, each employee becomes an important cog in the entire work of social services. Therefore, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You should be able to work independently but also collaborate with colleagues and external partners, be flexible, and comfortable with a wide variety of tasks such as helping with the reception phone, etc. It is important that you are responsible, flexible, stress-resistant, curious, and enjoy meeting people and social work.
We work with the support of the Social Services Act (SoL), the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and LVU legislation.
Whenever possible, social workers work in pairs, and access to close supervision and external guidance is available.
We want you to have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, good collaboration and initiative skills. Meritorious are Källvestens training, A home to grow in, as well as experience from family home work, authority work within IFO (children/youth area), as well as knowledge and experience of BBIC and other knowledge-related training and a B driver's license.

If you are called for an interview, you need to present a current extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record for work within social services (RPS 442.5 2008-06-18/1) and a diploma from the social worker education.
