Personal Assistant Wanted

We are looking for personal assistants who can support the work group during the summer when regular staff are on vacation, but also step in for hours as needed right now. Our client Sebastian is 7 years old, he primarily lives in Laxå but also spends time with his mother in Hasselfors. It is desirable that you live in Laxå or the surrounding area. A car & driver's license are a must as the transportation to Hasselfors is not very good.

The tasks as a personal assistant include daily hygiene, dressing and undressing, play, activation, training, and helping him do as much as possible of what a child his age does. As an assistant to Sebastian, you will work all hours of the day and be with him wherever he is, even at school. You will be offered friendly colleagues and an active client who truly appreciates his assistants and doing things together. It is also important that you enjoy walking, as Sebastian really likes to be outdoors.

You will receive individualized introduction/training in all aspects of the client's needs and routines. You need to be flexible regarding working hours – we support our client and each other.

The Role and Experience of the Assistant

It is important that you can speak and write Swedish. It is an advantage if you have experience working with children and insight into epilepsy and tube feeding. As Sebastian's assistant, you have a very important role and become a significant person in his life! It is crucial to be alert and attentive and not afraid to act when necessary.

As a person, you are creative, active, and a bit of a pedagogical genius. We also see that you enjoy teaching things and repeating and practicing the same thing many times!

Desirable Experiences

• Experience in healthcare/social care.
• Experience with epilepsy (EP).
• Experience with tube feeding.

Requirements

• Swedish in speech and writing.
• Driver's license & own car.

Working Hours/Employment Degree

• Start immediately or by agreement.
• Hourly employment as needed.
• Summer substitute June-August, when regular staff are on vacation.

• We apply salary according to Fremia. Collective agreement.
