Job Description

Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer temporary position as a treatment assistant at SiS!

The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients to adopt new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you will help ensure that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in providing stability and security for our clients, forming the foundation of their daily lives. You contribute to maintaining safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building good treatment relationships and help ensure that our clients receive the safety and security they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job can often be demanding but is also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, or nights.

As a summer temporary worker at SiS, you will undergo a tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment.

Qualifications

You should have:

• At least a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education equivalent to this. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant field. *Exceptions from the requirement for at least a two-year post-secondary education can be made in individual cases if there are special reasons according to Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468)
• Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or LSS care
• Driver's license (B)
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience in addiction care and compulsory care
• Experience in client-facing work

You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are willing to share your knowledge with colleagues.

We want to reward you for helping us during the summer period; therefore, those who work full-time as monthly employed summer temporary workers in client-facing roles for more than four weeks will receive a bonus. Employment

The position is a fixed-term employment according to agreement, covering the summer period from June to August. We would like you to start working before the summer and work as a substitute.
