We are now looking for personal assistants for a female client living centrally in Örebro, within walking distance to the city center. The job involves providing support in daily life at home and during activities.

The position includes day, evening, and night shifts, primarily on weekends but also extra as needed.

In this role, it is important that you can follow routines and instructions carefully, while also being attentive and able to adapt to the client's needs. You will work closely with other assistants and be part of an engaged team where collaboration, responsibility, and security are central.

Since the job involves daily walks and an active lifestyle, we are looking for someone with good physical fitness and energy – someone who enjoys being active and outdoors regardless of the weather. The assignment also includes maintaining the home, where attention to cleaning and hygiene is particularly important as the client has asthma. Therefore, you need to be organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy keeping your surroundings clean and fresh.

You will also be responsible for cooking (Swedish home-cooked meals), which means being able to follow routines, recipes, and dietary plans carefully as part of your duties.

We are looking for someone who has personal suitability as an assistant for our client. For us, this means that you are:

• Punctual and enjoys structure and routines

• Flexible and can step in as needed during illness or staffing gaps

• Confident in yourself, with the ability to create calm and security in your interactions with the client

• Proactive, both in independent work and in a group

It is an advantage if you have experience in care, assistance, or similar work - especially with deafblindness and/or diabetes. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and chemistry.

You will receive introduction and training in the specific routines for the assignment, as well as ongoing professional development through Novum Assistans.

The employment form is temporary initially, but may be extended to a permanent schedule in the future. We are looking for someone who can work all times day, evening - night based on the needs of the assignment.

We offer fixed hourly wages by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreements (Fremia–Kommunal).

The working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts as well as some weekends according to the schedule.

Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and start date will be agreed upon. In the recruitment process, we use a personality test (approximately 15–20 minutes) that will be sent to your email after application.
