Description

We are looking for a social worker for the adult and social assistance group in Ljusnarsberg Municipality. The position is a temporary contract.

The work involves primarily handling assistance for adults, such as applications and reports regarding dependency issues, housing issues, and domestic violence.

IFO in Ljusnarsberg is tasked with providing good and legally secure service to the municipality's residents. The organization is functionally divided into adult and social assistance, children and family, assistance, and labor market.

Job Responsibilities

The work involves investigations focusing on adults regarding SoL, LVM, and domestic violence. Since we are a small municipality, the work also means that you will be part of the joint reception for cases that come to social services. This mainly concerns reports regarding children and sometimes also adults.

You will have the opportunity to perform practical social work with the citizen in focus. It is an exciting and varied job where you will collaborate extensively with both internal and external parties. As we are a small municipality, the paths to each other are short, and we work with flexible solutions to meet the individual needs of our citizens.

The position also includes providing information, advice, contact with other authorities, and qualified investigative work. External supervision is offered.

The adult and social assistance group consists of 3.0 social workers.

Qualifications

You have a degree in social work or another equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent. It is advantageous if you have experience working as a social worker with authority and knowledge of the target group and relevant legislation (SoL and LVM). Documentation and investigation are important parts of the work, and therefore you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability. Working in a small municipality means that you naturally take responsibility and participate in developing the operations. Being service-oriented and flexible is important as the work may involve urgent decisions. You find it easy to work independently and are also a good partner in collaboration. You express yourself well in speech and writing and have a strong personal drive.
