With us, we work within group housing LSS, target group 1, personal assistance, and daily activities. We support individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism in their daily lives, aiming to create security, participation, and quality of life.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical principles and low-arousal responses to create security and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, enjoying working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the needs of the individual.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.

• Experience working in healthcare and social services.

• High school education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and social services program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field is meritorious.

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.

• Worked with complex support needs.

Employment type: Summer substitute Work percentage: Varying (80-100%) Working hours: Varying (day, evening, weekend) Start date: By agreement, we welcome if you can start shortly and begin a temporary position before the summer substitute role. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
