We are looking for personal assistants for a girl who is soon 2 years old with a tracheostomy in Haga near Karlslund, Örebro. The girl's needs require supervision and assistance around the clock. Since the girl breathes through a tracheostomy tube, you will always work with another assistant to ensure that her breathing functions correctly. A large part of the job is to prevent blockages in the tube by regularly removing mucus/saliva with a suction catheter and providing mucolytic inhalations. The girl also has a feeding tube in her stomach and requires gymnastics exercises/position changes.

As an assistant in this assignment, you will be offered a rewarding job with a cheerful girl who is quick to laugh. The family consists of the girl's mother, father, and two older sisters. They live in a villa together with a family friend. As an assistant, you will work close to the girl - both at home and when the family goes on outings and trips. The family has an active lifestyle and enjoys spending their free time outdoors. The family's home is about 4 km from central Örebro, and there are good connections with bike paths and bus lines.

Other requirements for you as an assistant in this assignment:

• You are a non-smoker.

• You have fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

• You have a driver's license.

It is also desirable that you have good physical fitness, are cheerful, and positive. The chemistry and interaction between you as an assistant and the client are crucial for the quality and experience of the work.

You will receive training in the medical tasks at Örebro University Hospital as well as at home.

About the employment We are looking for a need-based substitute during the day/afternoon that can lead to a larger position. We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreement (Fremia/Kommunal - Personal Assistance).
