Novum is a nationwide assistance provider that operates based on a Christian value foundation, aiming to make a difference for individuals, the industry, and society.

We are looking for someone who is caring and has a personality suitable for the role. We seek someone who can work nights and weekends. The position is 50-75%. We also welcome those who can work days, afternoons, and evenings, with a position of 50-75%. As a person, you need to be flexible and able to step in and swap shifts or take extra shifts when one of your colleagues is unavailable.

As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, flexible, attentive, and used to taking your own initiative. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a personal assistant. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is desirable that you have good physical fitness, are cheerful and positive, and have a sense of humor. Non-smoker is a requirement.

We offer a rewarding and developing job with a cheerful 11-year-old boy who lives with his mom and dad, little brother, and little sister in a house in Örebro. The boy has significant needs for assistance in all daily tasks, including communication, feeding, and training. He is very social and enjoys singing, playing, reading, and having fun. He has epilepsy, a PEG tube, and uses a wheelchair. During the day, the boy attends school.

It is beneficial if you enjoy working in a structured manner, are energetic, proactive, and creative. The most important thing is that you and the client get along well and that you are willing to learn the routines that exist in the workplace. We hope you will stay long in the assignment, as continuity and attachment are important for the boy.

Regular workplace meetings take place to develop the assignment. As an assistance company, we create conditions for the tasks that assistance requires, in ongoing professional development based on the needs of the assignment. As an assistant, you will thus have the opportunity for personal development both as an individual and in your professional role as a personal assistant.

We apply a fixed-term employment form "as long as the assignment lasts" as well as hourly employment. We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreements. The selection process is ongoing, and more information will be provided during a possible interview. Start date is according to agreement. For employment with Novum Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. According to the law (2010:479), regarding background checks of staff who will perform certain services for children with disabilities, we as employers are required to request a background extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. The background extract must be submitted to us as the employer before starting employment. You will order the background extract according to LSS from the police.
