Job Description

Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer temporary position as a treatment assistant at SiS.

The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients to adopt new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you will help ensure that the routines on the department function as they should. You play a significant role in providing stability and security for our clients, forming the foundation of daily life. You will contribute to maintaining the safety of the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building good treatment relationships and contribute to ensuring that our clients receive the security and safety they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment pedagogues and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule, including day, evening, weekend, or night shifts.

As a summer temporary worker at SiS, you will undergo a tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment.

Qualifications

You should have:

• At least a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education equivalent to this. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant field.
• *Exceptions to the requirement for at least a two-year post-secondary education may be made in individual cases if there are special reasons according to Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468).
• Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or LSS care.
• Driver's license (B).
• Good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form.

Meritorious:

• Experience in addiction care and compulsory care.
• Experience in client-facing positions.

We want to reward those who help us during the summer period; therefore, those who work full-time as monthly employed summer temporary workers for more than four weeks will receive a bonus. Employment

The position is a fixed-term employment according to agreement, covering the summer period from June to August. We would like you to start working before the summer and work as a substitute.
