The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS youth home Bergsmansgården receives non-compulsory school-age girls. We operate in Fjugesta, thirty kilometers west of Örebro, and have a satellite unit in Granhult, thirty kilometers north of Lindesberg. The girls come to us because they have psychosocial issues as well as problems with crime or substance abuse.
Job Description
Do you want to help create the vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment secretary at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our youth to new and less risky ways of living.
As a treatment secretary, you are responsible for ensuring that the youth receive the right interventions in accordance with the social services' assignment, establishing treatment or implementation plans, and following up on treatment interventions. You work closely with the unit team consisting of the unit manager, group leader, and psychologist, as well as in collaboration with the social services of the placing municipalities and the institution's various expert functions such as teachers, special educators, nurses, and treatment staff. You will support treatment staff in their daily work and ensure that documentation is carried out in accordance with guidelines.
In your work, you will:
- Ensure that treatment or implementation planning, discharge planning, and final notes are established, continuously followed up, and revised.
- Involve and engage the youth in every step of the treatment or implementation process.
- Anchor the treatment or implementation planning with all staff members in the department.
- Be responsible for evaluating care and treatment interventions together with the youth.
- Plan and lead the institution's treatment collegium, as well as guide treatment staff towards care and treatment goals in their daily work.
- Coordinate, plan, and lead both internal and external coordination meetings, as well as collaborate with the youth's private and professional networks.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree, such as a social worker or another behavioral science education that SiS considers equivalent and that comprises at least 180 credits.
- Experience working in activities focused on care and treatment, such as social services or other relevant activities, or experience working with youth and/or institutional care.
- Relevant knowledge of legislation, ethics, and approaches for the task.
- Good ability to express oneself in Swedish, both in writing and orally.
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Experience in independent planning work and guidance to collaborate with other professional groups to implement planned interventions.
- Training in any of the following: MI, CBT, YLS/CMI, or other risk and needs assessment instruments.
- A driving license (B).

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
