Social Worker for Foster Care
Do you want to be part of an engaged team that is passionate about social work? Then this is the right position for you! Seize the opportunity to have a job where you can make a difference every day as a social worker. We prioritize service and legal security, and we are driven by the ability to make a difference for our children and their families! About the Position
In the Foster Care unit, social workers work as child caseworkers, foster care caseworkers, or investigators. With us, you are never alone. You receive continuous support in cases from your immediate supervisor, your team leader, and your colleagues, and you also have the opportunity for external supervision. To help you succeed in your role, there are also employees with other professions ready to support you, such as administrators, co-caseworkers, and transporters.

- We know that professional development is important for success and job satisfaction, and we offer you the opportunity for deepening and specialization based on our competence ladder. You will also participate in lectures and deepen your knowledge in your area in other ways.
- As a new employee, you will receive a thorough introduction so that you can feel secure in your new role. You will also be assigned a mentor, a colleague who can support you with practical questions about everything from where the coffee machine is to how different processes work.
- We offer the possibility to work from home to some extent.
Examples of Job Duties:
- follow up on foster care placements
- investigate and handle cases according to SoL and LVU
- maintain contacts both for investigative purposes and to help strengthen individuals' own resources
- write statements to various authorities
- collaborate with external partners
- decide according to delegation
