The Social Administration works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of social services' mission and various legislations, as well as based on the values of the Social Administration.
The Social Administration will start a small group home according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) for individuals with disabilities, aiming to develop various housing options for the target group.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of support assistant in a small group home involves providing support, assistance, and services to a few residents within the group home. Primarily, the role consists of social and supportive interventions aimed at increasing individuals' development and opportunities for independence.
The role includes maintaining social documentation according to legislation and establishing, following up, and revising implementation plans.
You will participate in the quality development of the operations and attend various meetings, training sessions, and supervision. The work is conducted with great respect for the residents' right to self-determination and integrity.
You work based on a clear and pedagogical approach, possessing good knowledge and understanding of the importance of a low-arousal response.
You also have responsibilities as a contact person and collaborate with relatives.
Delegated tasks from a nurse, such as medication management and, where applicable, rehabilitative and trained interventions from a physiotherapist/occupational therapist, are also included.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has studied the Child and Recreation Program or the Health and Care Program or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Experience working with young people with neuropsychiatric disabilities and mental health issues is an advantage.
A B driver's license is also an advantage.
To be suitable for the job, it is important that you:
- have a good ability to adhere to established work/behavioral methods
- are confident in your professional role based on the occurrence of solo work and meeting individuals with mental health issues and various difficulties related to neuropsychiatric disabilities.
- understand the importance of having a relationship-building approach in relation to individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities/mental health issues.
- have a good ability to analyze your own work/behavioral approach and be able to change work methods based on the needs of the users.
