We are now looking for three social workers for the adult unit!

About the Organization

The Social and Labor Market Administration's Individual and Family Care is divided into two units: the Child and Family Unit and the Adult Unit. The units are led by unit managers and team leaders. We have over 50 employees in IFO in Hallsberg.

The social workers we are looking for belong to the adult unit. The workgroup also handles cases related to substance abuse, domestic violence, and housing issues. The unit also includes assistance officers and outpatient care for harmful use and dependency.

The Child and Family Unit works with case management regarding children and youth, family law, foster homes, and outpatient care.

Job Responsibilities

You will be one of the colleagues in the social worker group handling cases related to financial assistance, harmful use and dependency, domestic violence, and housing issues. The group consists of six social workers, one of whom is focused on handling cases related to harmful use and dependency. The group is led by a team leader, which provides close and rapid support in daily work. In organizational development, group meetings, and daily work, you will have the opportunity to develop and contribute knowledge. To thrive in the role of social worker, you need to enjoy meeting people, working motivationally, and writing ongoing notes and investigations.

We use the operational system LifeCare.

Qualifications

You should be a qualified social worker or have another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience working in social services and good knowledge of applicable legislation. It is an advantage if you have experience handling financial assistance or any of the other areas we work with. Other merits include knowledge of the operational systems LifeCare. You should be good at collaborating and building good relationships with clients and partners. You are encouraged to contribute your creativity and not be afraid to think outside the box. It is important that you see opportunities in changes and can quickly adapt to new circumstances. You should be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing in your professional role. It is important that you want to collaborate with colleagues to develop work methods and that you are positive, flexible, and highly engaged in your work.

A driver's license is a requirement.
