About the Organization

The Disability Services consists of units such as group homes, daily activities, personal assistance, short-term supervision for youth, and social psychiatry. The units are spread throughout the municipality, and management, administration, and employment consultants have their office in central Hallsberg.

Job Responsibilities

As an employment consultant, you will implement decisions regarding daily activities and employment in external operations. You will continuously work to support individuals in making transitions towards studies or the regular labor market.

An important part of the job is to support individuals in participation and personal responsibility. As an employment consultant, you will establish, together with the participant, the implementation plan that forms the basis for the work. A significant part of the job involves establishing contacts with the business community to enable high-quality external placements. You will also maintain close contact with the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, career counselors, and social services.

The assignment also includes implementing and following up on certain LSS interventions for children and youth. Decisions are implemented with external actors.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university education such as social work or behavioral sciences
• Good knowledge of various disabilities and mental health issues and their implications in daily life
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of social documentation (operational system Lifecare)
• Driver's license B for manual transmission

To succeed in the assignment, it is important that you can easily build trusting contacts and relationships with people and that you have good initiative, are goal-oriented, and unpretentious. It is important that you are responsible and can work independently.
