The Social Administration is divided into five areas: Home Care, Care and Nursing Homes, Health and Medical Care, Individual and Family Care, and the area for people with disabilities.
The Social Psychiatry Unit is organizationally located within IFO. The unit consists of three LSS homes and two SoL homes, a social psychiatric support residence, and a housing support group. The unit consists of 45 employees.
Sandviksvägen 27A is an LSS home for individual users within the social psychiatry unit. The workgroup consists of a total of 5 employees, including four support assistants and one support educator. The work is scheduled, and you will work days, evenings, and weekends. Occasional night shifts may occur. The position is a 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an employee, you will work based on decisions made according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act, as well as LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). The work is primarily solitary, but with proximity to colleagues in neighboring operations, and the workgroup is expected to act as a team.
You will work to provide residents with a meaningful and functional everyday life. This may involve support with cooking, hygiene, cleaning, laundry, contact with authorities, and leisure activities. As a support assistant, you strive to preserve and develop the competencies of the resident in your purposeful work to increase their independence.
Your responsibilities include maintaining social documentation according to legislation and establishing, following up, and revising implementation plans.
You will participate in the quality development of the operation and attend various meetings, training sessions, and supervision. The work is conducted with great respect for the residents' right to self-determination and integrity.
You will work based on a clarifying and pedagogical approach, with good knowledge and understanding of the importance of a low-arousal response.
Delegated tasks from a nurse, such as medication management and, where applicable, rehabilitative and trained interventions from a physiotherapist/occupational therapist, are also included.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has completed the Child and Leisure Program or the Health and Care Program or another education that the employer deems equivalent.
You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
You should have good computer skills and a B driver's license.
It is an advantage if you have worked in social psychiatry and/or within LSS with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
To be suitable for the job, it is important that you:
- have a good ability to adhere to established work/behavioral methods
- are secure in your professional role based on the solitary work that may occur and in meeting individuals with mental health issues and various difficulties related to neuropsychiatric disabilities.
- understand the importance of having a relationship-building approach in relation to individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities/mental health issues.
- have a good ability to analyze your own work/behavioral methods and be able to change your approach based on the needs of the users.
