Residential Pedagogue to Markteamet

About the Position
As a residential pedagogue, you will work with perspectives at the group and organizational level. You will closely collaborate with the responsible unit manager and support coordinator, and also be part of a network of residential pedagogues where you collectively work strategically to meet common challenges. The assignment includes monitoring the external environment and implementing and anchoring new working methods within the workgroup. The work is always based on the service recipient's conditions and individual support needs. Our work is characterized by care, and our goal is for those we support to feel involved and have the opportunity to influence their own daily lives.
Examples of Responsibilities:
- initiate, implement, and follow up on new and evidence-based knowledge in the organization on behalf of the operational management
- guide and educate workgroups in working methods and evidence-based practices
- develop and analyze working methods and practices in the organizations
- develop collaboration forms for relatives and interdisciplinary teams
- supervise and provide practical support to staff in establishing, implementing, and following up on action plans and goals for our service recipients
- introduce new employees and supervise students
About the Workplace
The position is based in premises on Lertagsgatan in Markbacken. The organization works with service recipients living in service housing, group housing, and regular housing. Here, you will be welcomed by a stable workgroup, and you will receive a mentor and tailored introduction based on your previous experience.
The Social Administration area of functional support provides assistance and services to individuals with physical and mental disabilities according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL).
Qualifications
To fit into the role, we see that you are a person who is secure in yourself and has good self-awareness. You take responsibility for your tasks and structure your approach to drive your processes forward. As a residential pedagogue, it is important that you have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge, and you adapt the way you convey your message based on the recipient. You work well with others and are attentive and accommodating in your interactions. Furthermore, we would like you to have an easy time adapting to changing circumstances and that you remain calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations.
You master the Swedish language well enough to communicate with service recipients and other staff, and you can document what the organization requires in writing. You have good computer skills as the work involves social documentation.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- higher education/university degree with at least 180 credits such as social worker, behavioral scientist, social pedagogue, or another academic education deemed equivalent by the employer
- at least two years of documented experience working with individuals with disabilities
Meritorious:
- experience in social documentation
- experience in supervising employees
- experience working with individuals with disabilities
- experience in organizational development
- experience working with various evidence-based methods, such as ESL, R-ACT, IBIC, MI
