We are looking for Personal Assistants for one of our female clients in her 70s with mobility impairments due to an accident, residing in Örebro!
The position is approximately 75%, which can increase if everything goes well.
You will be offered a fun and varied job in terms of tasks and pace, no day is the same.
Your workplace is her home and wherever else she may be. You will assist her in daily life by performing tasks she cannot manage on her own, such as personal care, intimate hygiene, transfers, cooking, household chores, etc.
Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, night, and weekends. It is also important that you can step in as a substitute in case of illness, leave, or other types of vacancies! You will be part of a team of personal assistants selected for your specific client. Therefore, it is incredibly important to have a good work ethic, where everyone supports each other and can work with short notice if needed, due to illness, etc.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and chemistry.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You need to be quick-witted, have a good demeanor, and be attentive, understanding, and patient, as well as being good at collaborating. You have the ability to take your own initiatives, are self-driven, and can communicate directly, clearly, and honestly.
You must be able to speak Swedish fluently. It is an advantage if you also speak Persian or Turkish.
It is important that you have a solution-focused approach to work and can see different possibilities and solutions when a problem arises.
There are also tasks involving the handling of lifts, draw sheets, wheelchairs, and other aids, so if you have experience with this, it is a plus. You must also be able to adapt to the individual’s own pace, which varies from day to day, depending on their condition.
Other qualities that are beneficial for the job include a good sense of humor, calmness, patience, and being responsible. You must be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important.
It is a significant merit if you have experience in personal assistance work.
Since we prioritize our clients' safety and security, we have a routine of obtaining criminal record extracts from all individuals employed by the company. This means that upon employment, we will request a record extract from you before you can start working.
