The Social Administration works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of social services' mission and various legislations, as well as based on the values of the Social Administration. This may involve home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, financial assistance, or help with addiction problems. The municipality's competence supply unit is also part of the administration.

The Social Administration is divided into five areas: Home Care, Care and Nursing Homes, Health and Medical Care, Individual and Family Care, and the area for people with disabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a case officer, your task is to investigate and assess the individual's needs and make decisions about interventions according to the Social Services Act. You are also responsible for following up on approved interventions and planning discharges from the hospital.

In addition to contact with users and relatives, you will have close collaboration with care staff, occupational therapists, nurses, and unit managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You have a professional approach towards citizens, users, and partners. It is important that you can communicate and document easily.

The job requires good collaboration skills and that you are structured, analytical, and stable. We see that you have a willingness to develop and the ability to relate to assignments and prevailing conditions.

Since the position involves travel, a driver's license is required.

Experience in public authority work is desirable.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To work closely with users and patients, you must provide a police certificate from the criminal records. You must request the extract from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the Criminal Records" available on the police website.
