We are looking for someone who wants to make a real difference in the daily life of a 13-year-old boy with an unusual brain injury. He is in a wheelchair, has epilepsy, and very limited communication. He needs help with everything in his daily life: from personal hygiene and feeding via PEG (button) to stimulation, security, and activities that suit his level.

He lives in a small, cozy house on the family’s property where his mom, dad, two siblings, and the family dog are nearby. You will work both independently and in collaboration with the family - but always with the boy's needs in focus.

Employment Type

The position initially involves a part-time employment, with the possibility of more work in the future depending on needs and personal chemistry.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a big heart, patience, and genuine commitment
• Is secure, attentive, and has the ability to see what needs to be done
• Can work independently and take responsibility in the moment
• Is flexible and can work days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Has common sense - it goes a long way here
• Preferably has experience in similar work, but personal qualities weigh heaviest

Job Responsibilities:

• Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing
• Feeding and medication via PEG
• Creating stimulation and accompanying on activities
• Being a secure support during epileptic seizures
• Maintaining routines and creating calm and security
• Taking care of the boy's living environment
