The Social Administration conducts a broad range of activities within elderly care, disability services, health care, and individual and family care. We currently have about 250 employees.
If you want to work within our administration, you will be in an organization where we put people's need for support at the center. We operate from a perspective where we focus on utilizing the resources and abilities of each individual. We encourage participation and always strive for a good response with respect for personal integrity.
The individual and family care in Lekeberg Municipality consists of a total of 23 employees distributed across the child and family unit, the adult unit including assistance handling, and open care. The organization is led by an IFO manager and three team leaders: one for the child and family unit, one for open care for both children and adults, and one for the adult unit.
We are now looking for two assistant handlers to our team within individual and family care, as two of our employees are going on parental leave. With us, you will be an important part of an operation characterized by commitment, professionalism, and a clear focus on the individual's needs.

You will be responsible for authority exercise according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), conducting investigations and following up on granted services. An important part of the work is to collaborate with colleagues, other operations, and external actors to find sustainable solutions for the individual. You will establish, document, and follow up on individual plans and ensure that the handling maintains high quality and is legally secure.
With us, you will work in a development-oriented context where cooperation, participation, and a professional response are central.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a degree in social work or another relevant higher education of at least 180 higher education credits that is deemed equivalent. You have a B driver's license and preferably experience working within social services, preferably in the role of an assistant handler.
