Project Manager for the Co-Morbidity Reform
Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. We take responsibility for equitable welfare and ensure that research and innovation yield results.
The Co-Morbidity Reform aims to improve care and support for individuals with harmful use or dependence combined with another psychiatric diagnosis. The reform clarifies the division of responsibilities between healthcare and social services. Regions will be responsible for integrated care and treatment, while social services will continue to provide support in daily life, such as housing and employment. Additionally, the legislation on compulsory care will change. The goal of the reform is to create more coordinated, needs-based, and person-centered interventions, so that every patient is reached and receives the support they need. The first parts of the reform are expected to be in place by early 2027.
We are now looking for a project manager who will be the spider in the web for the implementation of the Co-Morbidity Reform in Skellefteå and Norsjö and surrounding areas. The role involves coordinating information about necessary changes within the municipality and region, as well as creating collaboration among all stakeholders. You will help map the current situation, develop change goals, and identify pathways forward – with the aim of improving coordination around co-morbidity. You will be proactive and work practically and concretely to ensure that the reform is implemented according to national guidelines and timelines. The work will be carried out under the leadership of a steering group consisting of representatives from the municipality and region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and disseminate information about the reform's requirements and change needs in the area.
- Act as a link between the municipality, region, and other stakeholders.
- Drive mapping work of the current situation in Skellefteå and Norsjö and surrounding areas.
- Develop and present concrete change goals.
- Identify and propose pathways forward for effective change work.
- Provide practical and concrete support for the operational representatives who need to decide on and implement changes in their organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in change management and/or project management is required.
- Relevant higher education or equivalent experience.
- Good knowledge of municipal and regional operations is an advantage.
- Experience working in psychiatry and/or addiction issues is particularly valuable.
- Driver's license.
As a person, you are
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- You have the ability to quickly absorb and structure new information.
- You can present core messages in a clear and engaging manner.
- You enjoy collaborating and have an easy time building good relationships.
