Proactive and socially interested?
Then we believe you will thrive with us. Statistics Sweden (SCB) is the country's largest and foremost source of knowledge in statistics. Our statistics are used everywhere, at the kitchen table, in news reporting, and by decision-makers in parliament and government.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The national accounts are calculated by three sections at SCB. We are now looking for employees for two of these, the section for Product Accounts and the section for Financial and Sector Accounts. The sections are responsible for central areas within national accounts such as GDP and real sector and financial accounts. The sections are also responsible for compiling Gross National Income (GNI) and the public sector's savings and gross debt according to the EU's convergence criteria (EDP). We are a total of 36 employees based in Solna.
The results you produce are used as a basis for analyzing the Swedish economy and form the foundation for economic, political, and business assessments and decisions. The statistics are also used for administrative purposes, e.g., as a basis for determining the EU fee. If necessary, you will help explain, clarify, and deepen issues related to your area of responsibility when we meet our users. We often work with our European colleagues where international knowledge exchange takes place.
Would you like to...
- be responsible for ongoing calculations within national accounts

- take part in current investigations and improvement work aimed at developing the quality and content of statistics
- have contacts with both internal and external counterparts and participate in various networks
- monitor and participate in international work in the field
- investigate and respond to inquiries, referrals, etc.
... then we believe this position could be really interesting for you!

As a person, you are self-assured, have good self-awareness, and demonstrate personal maturity in your demeanor. You adapt your behavior to the situation. You easily adapt to new conditions and have the ability to reprioritize when needs and circumstances change.
For this to be a good match for both you and us, it is important that you have a good ability to collaborate.
