About the Position

We are looking for a Controller for an educational institution in Stockholm! You will be responsible for the financial management of projects, from budgeting at application to project reporting. The work is done in close collaboration with the institution's researchers.

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position of Controller is a full-time consulting assignment starting on 2026-02-01 and is expected to last until approximately 2026-10-31. There is a possibility of extension. The work will primarily take place on-site at the institution's premises.

Requirements for the Position:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Completed training in the relevant field
• At least three (3) years of work experience as a controller
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., QlikView, Insikt, and Power BI)
• Knowledge of financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.)
• Experience with government accounting
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Experience in financial work related to research-funded projects at a government agency, university, or other research environment
• Experience working with budgeting and forecasting for grant-funded projects at a government agency, university, or other research environment
• Experience working with EU-funded projects including reporting at a government agency, university, or other research environment
• Experience working in the financial system Unit4 (Agresso)
• Experience reporting to funders in accordance with agreements
• Experience working in the HR system HR-plus Visma.
• Ability to provide two (2) reference assignments completed within the last three years (since December 2023). The reference assignments must be in the same area, of the same scope, and similar tasks to those sought in this role.
• Be available for an interview during week 6.
